It loaded right up after installing the Aura Service, however my motherboard wasn't on there.

It's in the original zip file under LightingServices. This time it didn't give me the error above, but it gave me a 'Aura Service is not installed ! Please install Aura Service'. Then I uninstalled Aura Sync, downloaded the latest version from ASUS's support page and installed it. I used the 'advanced' deletion option on Revo. So what seems to have worked for me is using Revo uninstaller and going to File Explorer to C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/ and right clicking LightingServices and using the option 'Uninstall with Revo Uninstaller'. I actually spent the last couple of hours messing around and I ended up fixing it. Essentially you have to run RevoUninstaller on your LightingServices folder in C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/ See my comment below for how I got it to work. Never actually tried to see if Aura Sync would work with it.ĮDIT: FIXED. I'm on 1803, I tried upgrading to 1809 last week (not to get Aura to work, but to get DXR/DLSS to work) but was met with other issues like crackling sound so I rolled back to 1803.

Right now upon another full wipe of all ASUS software I'm still scratching my head as to why it's causing me so much issue.Īlso, I tried to disable Fast Startup from Windows but I don't have that option.

It also doesn't show my ROG Strix card in it, so I had to use a separate piece of software for that (not sure if that's normal?). however, it's super old and lacked features. The only work around I've managed is to find some super old version of it called Lighting Service and that works fine. I click on it, it immediately says 'Aura Sync has stopped working' 'Checking for a solution online.' every single time. I've even gone through to every shred of ASUS software left in PC files and registry items and uninstalled/removed them. I've honestly must have tried re-installing it 10-15 times in the last 3 months. I've tried completely disconnecting power to my PC, I've tried uninstalling all my other RGB software (even for my Logitech keyboard). I've used Revo Uninstaller, I've used CCleaner, I've used Windows' uninstaller, I even tried Aura Cleaner. I have an ASUS B350-F with a Ryzen 7 1700, 16 GB DDR3 TidentZ RGB RAM, and an ASUS ROG Strix 2060 and for the last 3 months I can not get Aura Sync to work.
